Quantum Physics Distance Learning Program
(21 October – 31 October 2024)
A week-long virtual class program on quantum physics commenced on 21st October and concluded on 30th October 2024 at LTWA’s Distance Learning Education Centre. The program successfully concluded with appreciative remarks from Ven. Geshe Lhakdor, Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives.
More than 17 monks and nuns attended the week-long virtual class program. As the session progressed, the participants delved into intensive quantum physics learning, in-depth discussions, experimental learning, etc. Throughout the program. the participants were able to acquire valuable knowledge and skills. We also had an interactive Q&A session after the final lecture.
Professor Ian Durham from Saint Anselm College, U.S., a quantum physicist, was in charge of the virtual classes. LTWA’s science department staff and Mr. Karma of Science for Monks and Nuns were a part of the interpretive process.
